Opportunity Knocks
In our industry, new initiatives, changes in legislation and the overall drive to more energy efficient products, means there is always something new for us to get to grips with and new challenges for our businesses. It's been a busy few months at RegaLead, and a great deal has been happening since our last issue of Leading Light. As well as our usual day to day business – which, in spite of the general landscape of the market as a whole, continues to be good for us - we have been busy with a lot more besides.
We are delighted to introduce the latest decorative glass technology from RegaLead – Fusion – a technique that allows you to fuse coloured glass directly onto float glass, so there is no requirement to purchase specialist and expensive base glass. We've also got in this issue a fantastic offer on UV-TEK equipment as we continue to offer our customers the best adhesives and equipment for the bonding of glass bevels. As usual we announce the winner of our Project of the Month competition and are delighted to welcome another new face to join the RegaLead team, Emma Cowking. Further details on this and more besides can be found in this issue of Leading Light, which we hope you enjoy.

Shortlisted for G11's Component Supplier of the Year
RegaLead is delighted at the news of being shortlisted in the G11 Awards Component Supplier of the Year category. It's been a tough time for everyone over recent years but the prestigious G Awards always bring the industry together and give us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the great and the good people and companies. To be shortlisted is a massive achievement for us and the entire team is really excited. We believe our continued range expansion and development, as well as investment in the business and our team, ensures we remain the most comprehensive component supplier in the industry. We are obviously hoping the judges agree with us and the decision goes our way on Friday, but in the meantime, we are enjoying the recognition and are proud of the fact we've been shortlisted. |

Heritage Profiles
range expanded
In response to customer demand, we have
recently increased the range of Heritage
profiles to include 16mm and 22mm widths.
The 12mm profiles were originally developed
for the US market where architects were
looking for a traditional lead look, with the
benefits of self-adhesive, for renovations on
some of the most prestigious university
projects. Since the introduction of the 9mm
profile in 2009, sales have grown significantly
both in North America and the UK and we
have had numerous requests for wider widths.
All 4 widths are available in Natural and
Antique finish as standard and other colours
can be made to order.

Rábacsécsény Catholic Church
In this issue, we are showcasing a stunning
religious project manufactured in Hungary,
which show just how effective the RegaLead
and Stained Glass Art Film can look on a
large scale project. The work was carried
out by Intarsia Studios, based in Budapest
and was installed in a 19th century Catholic
church in Rábacsécsény village. Although it
is a quite simple design, the use of strong
colour has transformed the windows in this
project and the priest and worshippers are
delighted with the transformation. |

No doubt some of you were in attendance at
our Open House recently and hopefully agree
the day was a huge success. It was great to
give everyone the opportunity to come and
see our new premises and fantastic to see
our partners supporting us with their exhibits
for our customers old and new and industry
friends. There was something of interest to
everyone and invaluable contacts were made
throughout the day, as well as during the
evening out that followed.
