Georgian style leading at Notre Dame university USA
RegaLead's Colonial lead profile has recently 'won a place' at the prestigious US University of Notre Dame's Law Facility. The architect specified lead profiles that would be in keeping with the other buildings on the historic campus yet could still used with insulated tempered glass. After testing a number of prototypes using various products the architect finally chose RegaLead's unique Colonial profile, previously used on a project at Yale University. The Notre Dame University contract required a total of 37,000 feet (around 11,000 m) of material in a traditional grid pattern on over 500 IGUs and 250 interior monolithic panels. The decorative glass fabrication was undertaken by Classic Glass of Fargo North Dakota and the windows were fabricated by Wausau Windows and installed by Schaaf Glass of Illinois.
